FCAI SIG on Children and AI

Welcome to the founding event of the FCAI SIG on Children and AI. The event includes invited talks, a panel discussion, and an open networking session. The event will take place in-person in Espoo, Tampere, and Oulu, and online via Zoom.

Through this SIG we plan to create a consortium of experts and practitioners working on all things related to AI for, with, and by children, from research, design, technology, and policy perspectives. We welcome everyone working on these topics to allow experts to connect and discuss the implications and opportunities for empowering, inclusive, and accessible AI for, with, and by children. And to innovate on ways to include children to the discussions and decisions concerning them, i.e., using child-centered and child-driven participatory approaches.
