FCAI for decision makers

FCAI was created in line with the first AI strategy “AI Finland” (Tekoälyaika) of the Finnish Government. FCAI leaders and other researchers also contributed to this strategy work.
FCAI is nationally, and in the EU, one of the key players in AI research. It offers an extensive ecosystem that brings together researchers, companies, students, and the public sector interested in developing and applying AI. We collaborate with many other organizations to create wealth and prosperity through research, education, and AI methods that enable analytic data-based decisions.
FCAI researchers participate actively in the public discourse of AI and its impact on society. With its network of professionals tackling various aspects of the use of AI now and in the future, FCAI is a reliable partner for decision-makers, e.g. consulting on policy making in the committees nationally and in the EU.

FCAI has also founded FCAI Society, an interdisciplinary group of experts with the goal of analysing AI technology as a societal game changer to explore the impact AI will have in all aspects of our lives.
