Article 4 of the EU AI Act, effective February 2, 2025, requires organisations to ensure employees working with AI systems have the necessary knowledge and skills. This means staff must understand how to use AI responsibly, recognising potential risks, and ethical issues. This important legal milestone inspired this event featuring an introduction to EU AI Act in the university context and three keynotes on AI in teaching, ethical aspects of AI and AI in innovation with leading experts in the field, including FCAI's Arno Solin.
